Since I'm not seeing the banner, could you check which filter you are using to block the banner using the Adguard Settings?
Go to the "User Filter" tab and find youtube.com filters. I'll add the filter to the script if you can copy paste it here.

While I would love to update the userscript, I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to implement it.
The new Youtube makes things quite hard for me to reimplement the script.

I'll keep you updated if I ever release a new version, but don't get your hopes up.

This script does not work on the new youtube layout (see the userscript description).
If you do use classic youtube, please press CTRL+SHIFT+J and look for errors in the console.

It is however working for me and we're using the same chrome version so I'll close this issue.
