Buttons come up on the lists page and actually look like they're working, with the proper dialogue boxes, etc., but it doesn't change any colors, alas. With the latest FF add-on debacle, I'm trying to make Waterfox my new default, but this is kind of a dealbreaker.

Please check the Javascript console. If you can't figure out the problem on your own, please share here any warnings and errors and I'll give it a try.
