Since discovering user scripts in 2007 I've gone from writing a user script to improve a user script hosting site (userscripts.org), to writing libraries for user scripts (e.g. GM_config), to contributing to the development of a user script manager (Greasemonkey), to finally building a user script hosting site (openuserjs.org). I released the source code for this site (built from scratch on Node.js with some helpful libraries) under the GPLv3, and develop it with the help of others.
