Assistant Script for exploring with probes in Atmoburn.

  • When on the fleet page for a probe, adds a Next button by the Local Targets list
  • Clicking the button will launch the probe to explore the next unexplored planet in the system (and then cycle the page to the next Explorer). If there are no unexplored planets, it will bring up the starmap so you can select the next system.
    • If there is a wormhole in the system, will alert you with a Confirm window, allowing you to cancel out of the explore action, or to continue.
    • Keyboard shortcut 'X'
      • If your currently selected explorer is on a mission, pressing 'X' will select the next valid explorer
      • If there are no valid explorers on the Exploration Coordinator list (all of them are missing due to being busy, or are on the ignore list), 'X' will reload the page, updating the Exploration Coordinator list.
      • (Please don't just press 'X' continuously forever to spam reload the page, waiting to press it once a fleet completes a mission is sufficient. Though you really ought to be doing something else other than camping your Explorer's fleet page)
  • Adds a button to Ignore a fleet for 48 (default) hours (skipping over it when automatically selecting the next Explorer fleet, as well as marking it red on the Exploration Coordinator)
    • An ignored fleet will warn you if selected, and can also be removed from the ignore list.
    • Keyboard shortcut 'R'
    • Ignoring a fleet transfers it to the system entrance (guaranteeing it will get solar refueling)
  • Adds Park button, which sends your fleet to the system entrance, and puts it on a short 1 hour ignore.
    • Keyboard shortcut 'P'
  • Adds Parking Mode button. When clicked activates Parking Mode for 2 hours, or until clicked again to disable.
    • When Parking Mode is enabled, button pulsates green. Effect of Next button is modified when active (pressing Next when at system entrance Parks the fleet, otherwise, explores next planet or opens starmap as normal.
    • Added this so that when finishing up your exploration for the day, you don't have to pay attention to if the fleet that just loaded just hit a new system or not.
  • If your remaining fleet range is 80mkm (default) or less, changes the range font color to yellow
  • If your remaining fleet range is 40mkm (default) or less, changes range font color to red, and also asks if you'd like to put the fleet on Ignore before bringing up the starmap to travel to a new system.
  • Adds Settings button, allowing you to set custom fuel warning ranges, and Ignore timer duration.
  • Settings stored in Local Storage, if you don't have settings yet, defaults to 40,000,000 km critical fuel level, 80,000,000 km caution fuel level, 48 hour ignore.

New

  • Now draws a line on the starmap to the closest Unexplored system when brought up from the Next button/key (until the starmap re-renders: when scrolling/zooming/etc.; pair this userscript with Starmap Default Zoomout for proper usability)

(Note for Firefox users: Pressing 'X' triggering the starmap will ask for permissions to bring up a popup window, unlike clicking the button. You can safely allow all popups for Atmoburn, we swear not to randomly decide to instead pop up infinite numbers of spam advertisements, crushing your PC to a crawl.)
