Re: @TimidScript: ok so something weird happened. yesterday i did a clean install of firefox and started with a new profile, grabbed a fresh copy of greasemonkey and installed nothing but your script, that is as clean as it gets, short of reinstalling windows. and it didn't work. so i switched back to my old profile and waited for your reply.

after reading your reply i decided to give it another try, even though the first method clearly doesn't go as far as what i tried before.

and it worked.

so uh...i have no idea what happend. but thanks...?

anyway, in case you'd still like to know (and i keep forgetting to mention), yes i use firefox and greasemonkey, both are the latest versions. and thank you very much again for your patience. this really is a script i can't not have :P

ps. if you'd still like to find out the reason i'd be happy to do what i can to help, i'm pretty curious as well

i installed the script on another computer and it worked fine, so the problem is limited to my main machine. i tried uninstalling, restarting the browser and resintalling, but nothing seems to work? i'm hesitant on a fresh install of the browser because it'll take quite some time...where can i find the log window?

Re: @TimidScript: ah, sorry i should elaborate - normally, with the illustration link turned on, there should be a [❀] under each thumbnail in the 'works' and 'profile' page (also individual page for each illustration as well) that links to the full image (eg: http://www.pixiv.net/member_illust.php?id=28245). but recently, whenever i go to a works or profile page, the links no longer appear. the message on the lower left that indicates the loading progress stops at 'getting metadata for [x] illustrations' (x depending on number of thumbnails per page) like so: http://i.imgur.com/9Pt6quC.png. the links on individual illustration pages still work, like so: http://www.pixiv.net/member_illust.php?mode=medium&illust_id=46169439 . just not the links on works and profile pages. i hope that helps! i've been a silent fan for quite some time but this is definitely my top 1 script so thanks for being awesome :)
